Kim Soo Hyun returns to Korea after cheering on Park Tae Hwan in London

Kim Soo Hyun (born February 16, 1988) is a South Korean actor best known for his roles as Song Sam-dong in the KBS TV series ‘Dream High’ and fictional king of Joseon Lee Hwon in the MBC historical drama ‘The Moon that Embraces the Sun’.

Actor Kim Soo Hyun left for London on July 27th to cheer on the Olympic team, and after staying there for 5 days, the actor returned to Korea on July 31st.

On July 28th, Kim watched the final race of the men’s 400-meter, which took place at the London Aquatics Center, with a Korean cheering squad. Kim flew to London on July 27 with the cheering squad selected through an event held by Samsung Electronics in order to cheer Park on for the men’s 400-meter freestyle race despite his busy schedule. When Park was eliminated from the tournament in the preliminary rounds as he was disqualified for the 400-meter final race, Kim expressed his sadness. However, Park advanced to the finals as his objection was accepted after the video record check, and Kim happily participated in cheering Park in the finals.As Park won a silver medal, Kim gave him a very big applause, according to reports.Upon his return, Kim Soo Hyun wore a hooded black leather jacket that drew attention from the fans and reporters on site.

Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun is focused on further promoting his movie ‘The Thieves‘ that has already been viewed by 3 million viewers in just 6 days.
